Harriet had followed Jemima
Harriet new she was being naughty her mother had told her not to go to Mr Pugh's farm because he had a big sheepdog that would catch a bear if he could, but she was sure that Jemima went there. She kept a little distance from Jemima just in case Jemima told her to go back to the burrow. Harriet thought to herself that she was big enough now to do what the bigger bears did, so she crept on trying not to be noticed. She was thrilled to be out in the open with the fresh smell of something delicous floating on the breeze coming from the farm house. What could it be? Harriet crept forward when suddenly a loud noise filled her ears was this what her mother had often told her stories of, Mr Pugh's dog! She wasn't going to stop and she she ran for all she was worth until she got to the dingle where she stopped to rest on the log pile of freshly cut logs that Mr Pugh had only chopped that day.
Harriet is made from pure new wool the colour of Autumn. She measures approx 33cms from ears to toes. Harriet's eyes are made from plastic beads which makes her unsuitable for very small children.
