Jemima sits very quietly on her log It was a very sunny autumn day when Jemima left her burrow. She loved the open space and often walked through the fields from the open mountain to watch the people about their business. She would sit quietly in the log pile watching Mrs Pugh hang out her washing with the smell of newly baked bread wafting out through the open window. Jemima wondered what it would be like to taste it. She was sure it must be heavenly and vowed one day she would be brave enough to sneak past Mr Pugh's dog and taste some for herself.
